	BUTTE AREA PRODUCTS AND SERVICES: - Farming and wholesale distribution of farm products are the main industry. In fact, the majority of Alaska-grown vegetables consumed in-state are produced in the Butte area. There are a few small businesses who serve mainly the local community, but the majority of mostly family-owned enterprises provides goods and services to residents from other areas of the Valley and to visitors from Anchorage and beyond.
