The Butte Volunteer Fire Department has been the core of our community for many years, celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2003. Over the years, the dedicated men and women of William Barnhardt Fire Station 2-1 in Butte and Station 2-2 at Steffes Fire Hall on Knik River Road have provided excellent and dependable emergency services which have grown with expanded technology and education. If you are interested in joining the team, read their brochure.
