Shake the snow off - it's time to get ready for Racing!

    When you get to the track, take the second entrance. (Try and get there in time to be in the tech line by 10:00 am.) Give the nice lady money behind the booth for your racing fees. She will ask you what class you want to race in, I would suggest Trophy class. Lots of newbies,lots of fun, and very little cash. Once you have your tech slip,(this is what the lady gives you in exchange for cash) Go to the tech line with your car, helmet and tech slip. Once you pass tech, (no big deal if your running all your lug-nuts and gas or oil isnt spewing all over the ground) go get in the staging lanes and make a pass! If you have NEVER done this, dont worry, EVERYBODY dorks out the first couple of pass's. At about 2:00, Eliminations begin. Listen to 95.1 on your radio for the tower to call out the trophy class. (Once they call,go to the lane they called your class in. He'll say, "Trophy class lanes 1 or something like that") Everybody up there is very cool, and we love newbies! (easy pickings) Just kidding. ITs great to see new people getting into it, and anybody up there will help you if you have questions. Dont try and park on th pavement in the pits, people rent those spots all summer. There will be lots of vacancies on Sunday, but after the season get's rolling, you might need to set up your pit on the grass unless you work something out with a pavement renter.
